Changing your SMTP server in Outlook (Express)

1. Click on Tools then Accounts.
2. A window should pop up like the one below. Click on the account in this case it is northhost.com. Then click Properties.

3. Under Servers tap make sure that your incoming mail is set to mail.yourdomain.com. Set your outgoing mail to mail.yourdomain.com. It the outgoing mail does not work. Try entering one of the popular local SMTP servers. If that does not work check My Server Requires Authentication. If that still does not work call your internet service provider to get the Outgoing mail server.
